That appears to have changed.<\/p>\n<p>Rodrygo was linked with Arsenal earlier in the summer, but after the signing of Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres, that interest seemed to die away. Meanwhile <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football-espana.net\/2025\/07\/29\/real-madrid-star-instructs-agent-to-contact-premier-league-giants-over-move\">Liverpool have been cited as the side Rodrygo is most keen on joining<\/a>, instructing his agents to let them know as much. It appears that a door has been opened to an exit now.<\/p>\n<h2>A loan deal for Rodrygo?<\/h2>\n<p>It was reported by The Times (via <a href=\"https:\/\/as.com\/futbol\/primera\/mercado-de-fichajes-ultima-hora-de-real-madrid-barcelona-atletico-y-ligas-internacionales-n-127\/?noti=mercado_mod_port\">Diario AS<\/a>) that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caughtoffside.com\/tags\/premier-league\/arsenal\">Arsenal were considering a loan offer<\/a> for Rodrygo, and now indyKaila have reported that the Gunners have enquired about a potential deal with Los Blancos on those terms. If Liverpool cannot get a deal over the line for Alexander Isak, one of the names on their shortlist is PSG\u2019s Bradley Barcola. It has been reported that Los Blancos are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football-espana.net\/2025\/08\/04\/real-madrid-manager-set-for-awkward-coexistence-with-star\">aiming for a \u20ac100m fee for the Brazilian, but want a minimum of \u20ac80m<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It does seem that Rodrygo is not in Xabi Alonso\u2019s plans, at which point it makes sense to move him on, and this would at least save on some of his salary this season. On the flipside, if Rodrygo leaves, Xabi Alonso will no doubt want the funds to strengthen elsewhere.
