Barcelona lost out to Paris Saint-Germain<\/a> in their eagerly-anticipated Champions League clash at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys. Here\u2019s how their players fared in Montjuic.<\/p>\n

Player ratings<\/h2>\n

Wojciech Szczesny \u2013 6<\/h3>\n

Not entirely convincing, but could do little about PSG\u2019s two goals.<\/p>\n

Jules Kounde \u2013 6.5<\/h3>\n

Good first half, but like many of his teammates, struggled massively in the second.<\/p>\n

Eric Garcia \u2013 7<\/h3>\n

Barcelona\u2019s best defender, and it is perhaps no surprise that PSG scored their second goal after he came off with a knock.<\/p>\n

Pau Cubarsi \u2013 6.5<\/h3>\n

Made a couple of important challenges, but aside of that, not at his best.<\/p>\n

Gerard Martin \u2013 6<\/h3>\n

Struggled to deal with Bradley Barcola at times.<\/p>\n

Frenkie de Jong \u2013 6<\/h3>\n

A disappointing performance from de Jong after a fantastic run of form. He struggled to gain control of the midfield in the second period, as he was bested by the likes of Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz.<\/p>\n

Pedri \u2013 7<\/h3>\n

Good performance from Pedri, who was withdrawn earlier than usual by Hansi Flick.<\/p>\n

Lamine Yamal \u2013 7<\/h3>\n

Fantastic in the first half, but very quiet in the second \u2013 understandable given that he is returning from injury.<\/p>\n

Dani Olmo \u2013 6<\/h3>\n

Still struggling with consistency. He was poor here, summed up by a big miss in the second half that would have put Barcelona 2-1 up.<\/p>\n

Marcus Rashford \u2013 7.5<\/h3>\n

A constant menace to the PSG backline. He provided the assist for Barcelona\u2019s goal.<\/p>\n

Ferran Torres \u2013 6.5<\/h3>\n

Scored, but also missed a big chance minutes before. Aside of those moments, he was quiet.<\/p>\n

Substitutes<\/h3>\n

Alejandro Balde \u2013 6<\/h3>\n

Barcelona will be delighted to have him back from injury, although he was sluggish in his cameo \u2013 as to be expected, given he hasn\u2019t played for several weeks.<\/p>\n

Marc Casado \u2013 6<\/h3>\n

Got himself about, albeit without much success.<\/p>\n

Robert Lewandowski \u2013 6<\/h3>\n

Didn\u2019t have a sniff after coming on.<\/p>\n

Marc Bernal \u2013 6<\/h3>\n

Didn\u2019t do much during his 15 minutes on the pitch.<\/p>\n

Andreas Christensen \u2013 6<\/h3>\n

Little time to make an impact, although PSG did score after he came on.<\/p>\n
